JOB DESCRIPTION

An upbeat, organized, efficient, multi-tasker, and customer-oriented person will excel in this position. This individual will work with the retail store, marketing, and your own team to keep inventory flowing effectively both into the facility and out of the facility through the retail store.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Track inventory, receive inventory, get inventory to the store floor in an organized and timely fashion
  • Manage online orders, online product positioning, and pricing
  • Manage and maintain in-store inventory, including regular inventory counts and reconciliation
  • Maintain an organized, tidy, and efficient stock room
  • Manage the price of both new and existing inventory
  • Managing customer transfers, including contacting the customers as needed
  • Collaborate with Inventory Manager and other Inventory Assistants to keep the department performing efficiently and effectively in a timely manner to achieve the overall productivity of the retail store sales
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times with an outstanding work ethic
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Formal Education & Certification

  • Inventory management background

Skills & Abilities

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Upbeat, customer service-oriented personality with strong people skills
  • Organized, ambitious, focused
  • Must be willing to make and take phone calls
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office programs, including in-house programs
  • Leadership skills

Physical Demands

The required physical demands to perform the essential functions of this job include the ability to stand for long periods of time, walking, hearing, seeing, use of hands, arms, and the use of legs to lift.  Additionally, the employee must physically be able to hold, lift and operate all types of firearms.  This individual must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds on a daily basis
